Project 365 on hold

Yeah I know... I'm a procrastinator and lazy and all that. I just don't have the gusto to take a picture everyday. I tried but it was starting to get weird... Pictures of my feet, my toothbrush, stuff like that. After Christmas, I'll look into learning how to use the awesome things my camera can do and start honing a photography skill.

In other news, I made yet another repair call that resulted in over $500 in upgrades/repairs to our house. Granted we did need a new water heater, but why right before Christmas? I'm very grateful that we have family that can help us deal with these types of problems.

I finally found something A.K. will use the toilet for... Monkey Preschool Lunchbox! It's just unfortunate that this game requires my iPod. I've missed it.

Daddy took A.K. to a college basketball game since I was hosting a Girl's Night at our house. I guess she thought it was a little loud at the first.

I wanted to put up the Christmas tree on Nov 1st, and DH though that was a little too soon, so we settled for anytime after Veteran's Day. This was the first free day we had after that day, so it went up today. A.K. helped a bit more than she did last year.

Banana on a bun

Last night I tried this snack.

Hot dog bun
Banana, peeled
Peanut butter
Honey

Spread peanut butter on one side of the inside of the hot dog bun. Spread honey on the other side of the inside of the hot dog bun. Place whole banana inside bun and enjoy.

I was looking for a light snack when I made this. This was a little heavier than I would have liked. The bun was partially stale too, so next time I'm going to make sure the bun us nice and fresh. I may throw in some raisins too.

Ready to go to work. My second week on the job, and I finally got a shirt that fit. I actually kinda liked how the outfit made me look. It's too bad that the hours and the environment weren't fitting with me... I quit at the end of the week.

The only clean spot on my floor! Haha... I don't even remember why this one was taken. Perhaps to show off the wonderful detail of the quilt my MIL pieced together for mine and J's wedding.

A loves her daddy. Anytime he sits anywhere, she's all over him. Oh, and look at those big girl underwears! This is the third day of potty training... pretty hectic.

Fourth day of potty training... you can see what A thinks about it! For some reason, today she woke up cranky, and stayed that way all day long. Look at the strained smile on my face too...

Yeah I know... there isn't a picture for today. Maybe there's a reason for that? We were pretty busy this day though, with daddy gone all morning at the temple and mommy gone all afternoon at the primary program practice.

Here is A.K. all ready to go to Grandma S.'s house. She had to have her plastic baseball hat, "24" bear, and that sheet of stickers. She got tired of waiting for mommy to get ready so she plopped herself down on the stairs near the back door.

Everyday when I make A.K. some chocolate milk, I see this rock right next to it. A.K. often brings in "important" rocks. Someday I am going to go around my house with a box and find all these rocks I "hid" from A.K. and take them back outside.

We took a trip to the Treehouse Museum in Ogden for their Halloween party. I came across a set up with a royal chair and a crown.

Project 365

I have been challenged to capture those wonderful ordinary moments and objects that make up my world. I am taking the “Project 365” challenge and photographing at least one picture every day for a year. I'll post my pictures with their descriptions once a week (Sunday) and tag them as "Project 365". I'll start today (which means this week only gets 5 pics instead of 7).

My camera is an HP Photosmart R967. It does it's job, but I kinda wish I had one of those awesome SLRs.
